We really suffer from limited volunteers but still have to run many events and fundraisers aimed at including our students, parents, teachers, and community.  YOUnion has helped us automate communicating with the community, which helps our apparel sales, special events and tickets for movie night. We get more done with less volunteer time, we don’t need to handle cash anymore and we are able to sell more with credit cards through the app. Members are able to purchase at their leisure and arrange for pickup at the school office or from my garage. We even get a boost from local merchants that use the app. We get donations at checkout and as YOUnion partners, we get some revenue from their sales, which they are happy to help us with.

Hand Made Ice Cream Shop

I had a lot of problems with the delivery marketplaces and they charge too much money. Because I’m short staffed, I really needed help with  customer service issues, that YOUnion solved for me. On top of that It’s free for me. Not only can I can communicate with my customers, now I have a digital sales channel for local buyers. I’m a big believer in supporting my local community and am delighted to see my customers donate to the local PTO when the buy with the app. I even have their sign in my shop to make it easier.

If I had to guess, my best customers are the high school kids where I park my truck at lunch and after school. The local PTO volunteers asked me to join the YOUnion so sales of pizza slices can also generate revenue for the school programs. They support me so I support them. I never thought I would be able to become a sponsor of a ball team, but now I get to do my part. My kids are really proud of me.

Local Sandwich Shop

YOUnion provides an entirely new digital sales channel for us and it helped us overcome the challenges in dealing with so many customer requests at the same time. Our good customers order in advance and pick up when convenient. We are really excited at the opportunity to help our local PTO. It’s so simple to run events with them and offer special deals on our menu that help with their fundraising. Every school group should be using this fundraising tool.
